While not really news, per se, Blit, the Spanish dev studio behind the Sonic CD and Jet Set Radio HD re-releases, has come out and said they have interest in bringing back the highly-requested Jet Set Radio Future and Shenmue. However, they seemingly confirm that there are not any plans currently to bring back either, at least not ones involving Blit. It’s still possible that the ports are being developed in-house(like the rest of SEGA’s HD re-releases have been) or are being worked on by another studio. Or they’re not being made at all. Shenmue in particular has been long-rumored to have re-releases in the pipeline.
They also revealed the reason for Jet Set Radio’s removal from mobile stores: an emulation trick that ceased to work properly with iOS8, which was apparently difficult to fix.

He’s just trying to keep hope alive, it’s not anything concrete. Since he no longer works at SEGA, and he’s working on another project, it’s unlikely he’s in the loop of things over there.
I apologize for the severe inactivity lately, it was not my fault.
